2. Parkview Field
If possible, we highly recommend catching a game at Parkview Field, Home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps Baseball Team! A TinCaps game is the perfect choice for fun family entertainment, as it is way more than just a baseball game. With tickets starting at just $5 a piece, TinCaps games are affordable and fun for everybody! Keep in mind, Parkview Field is only open from April through September.
3. Fort Wayne Museum of Art
The Fort Wayne Museum of Art is another great place for families and people of all ages. The museum includes diverse exhibitions with both historical and contemporary arts. It offers tours, lectures, workshops, and even parties for it’s guests. The Paradigm Gallery has fine arts and crafts for sale, while the Early Learning Center offers hands-on fun for the children. The museum admission is very reasonably priced at $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and students K-college, and $20 for families.
4. Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory
The Botanical Conservatory, located in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne, is a must-see in the city. This beautiful oasis offers lush seasonal displays, four outdoor gardens, three indoor gardens, a beautiful waterfall, exhibits for children to learn from, and even family events. Also be sure to check out the gift shop and the cafe before you leave! The Botanical Conservatory is another very affordable form of entertainment in Fort Wayne, as adults are only $5, children ages 3-17 are $3, and children under 2 are free.
5. Java Mama
Before leaving the wonderful city of Fort Wayne, be sure to stop by Java Mama Cafe, a unique cafe designed for both adults and children alike. Java Mama is a place where adults can relax, meet up with friends, or connect to free Wi-Fi to get some work done. Meanwhile, the little ones are able to explore and have fun in the designated and supervised play area. Java Mama offers gourmet coffee and drinks, sandwiches, soups, and salads, healthy snacks for children and babies, fun classes for adults and children, and as mentioned previously, a supervised play area for children six and under.
